BLE TRAILER COUPLING IDENTIFIER

DEVICE FUNCTIONS

BLE trailer coupling identifier is produced by using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology and is intended for the wireless identification of various trailer equipment that can be used in conjunction with a tractor, drive truck or other equipment. In various sectors of industry (mainly in the agricultural one), there is a need for a precise definition of which trailer equipment is involved in performing current work with a specific tractor/drive track. This device is mainly used to solve this problem.

Technically, the device consists of two functional units: BLE radio module and non-contact BLE radio tag. The second one has an autonomous power supply, which allows it to be used in conjunction with non-powered trailer equipment. Being a part of the Bitrek Connect system, device has its separate function module. In addition, the device may work separately from the Bitrek Connect system, but with some limits.
